Throughout the year we regularly run 4 week courses in how to become more mindful and teach you the basics of how to meditate. With regular practice, mindfulness can help to reduce stress, anxiety and unhappiness. It can also increase self-acceptance and self-awareness and improve sleeping patterns. Modern life can be very challenging. There are work, financial. family, relationship pressures. Mindfulness gives you ways to navigate these challenges and tools on how to deal with them better. Many people who practice mindfulness and meditation find they have a greater capacity to feel joy and are not so totally ‘caught up’ in the stresses of modern life. They feel more mental freedom, sleep better and experience better relationships.
